Book Presentation Day
For our las class meeting, we all shared our books, but unfortunately mine had not made its final destination yet. According to Blurb.com, I will be getting mine tomorrow. I thought all the books were amazing, everyones ideas were good, and the way they all turned out is just priceless. One of them really caught my attention, and since we got to pick one that stood out the most to us I picked the one with the “FACES” by Jason Bates. I really liked it because it is very similar to what I like, which is graffiti. My book was on graffiti too, but seems as he’s more into characters, and that is what his book was about. Different faces, same style, and I really liked the way the book turned out. I also liked how the arrows he added to them connected and made it look mare graffiti style. The work he has on a canvas looks great too, the background colors make the the faces look more “out there”, and I really liked it. Im sure others liked it as well, and I think that his paintings have potential to be up on the wall of a gallery.
